| There was a larger than usual congregation at the 9.30am sung eucharist for the last time the Rev Roy Hickes would officiate at an All Saints' service since he took over, when the Rev Derek Hooper was rector, as priest-in-charge at Christchurch, Redhill. Afterwards, there were presentations to him and Winifred by the churchwardens, refreshment, and a final opportunity to express to them every good wish for the future. | ||||||||||
