| Audrey and David Parkes led a group on one of Sue Gearing's circular walks which gives stunning views of Chew Valley Lake. They met by the lake between West Harptree and Bishop Sutton, where there's parking. They climbed up to Burledge Common and made a huge semi-circle to Hinton Blewett, where a lunch break was taken at the Ring o' Bells. The total length of the walk was about 6½ miles and 3½ hours walking time. David's photos show some of the pleasures - and obstacles - encountered ! |
