Millie greets the fete 'opener', Cllr Mrs Pearce in the tea tent ...
... Gosforth himself is distracted by misbehaving PA equipment and boy scouts ...
... the vicar, too, is a little distrait ...
... but soon remembers his manners, and conducts her around the stalls, leaving Gosforth trying to make the PA work, and Millie trying to tell Gosforth she's ...
...pregnant ... ...time for a bit of 'cheer up, old thing' ... ... only to discover ... too late ...
... the PA is working ...
... indeed, Stuart, Millie's fiancé, has heard the lot ... ... and is more than a touch upset ... |
||||||||||||||
... and decides to relieve Gosforth of the microphone ...
... unfortunately, the vicar confirms his scouts have heard everything too ... so Gosforth tries a little liquid consolation (Tio Pepe actually) ... which doesn't so much console as rapidly inflame ...
