Having revealed his own identity as a master sleuth, Deakin proceeds to give the traditional account of the affair, revealing just what everyone was up to .... ... and warning Julia not to try any funny business
	With everything explained, the Winthrops depart, but the Murdocks are prevented by the gun Julia pulls on them having - she thinks - disposed of Deakin
But even Julia's steady hand is no match for the forces of law & order, in the person of Deakin ....
	... whose exploits have passed Miss Bourne by, leaving her grateful 'not to have missed anything exciting
