Enter a jolly bunch of pirates ...
... singing their hearts out ...
... the Pirate King and Fred have to discuss the termination of Fred's indentures ...
.... and Ruth has something on her mind ...
... about a confusion between PI-LOT and PIR-ATE ...
... Fred, being a decent sort, pardons her ...
... saying he's off, but the Pirate King points out he has half an hour left of his indntures ...
... and, when he goes, will he take Ruth with him ?
... of course, says the Pirate King, he must keep his love ...
... and, what is more, if, released from your indentures, you make it your purpose to destroy us, make it painless ...
..... but then, I'm proud to be a pirate king ...
.... but, on the matter of sticking with Ruth, Fred asks her, 'How do you think you compare to other girls ?'
