Food Bank Donations:

Our biggest ‘local’ foodbank is the Clevedon and District Foodbank. For many years, donations could be made at the two Wrington Churches  but in recent years that has now expanded to include other convenient drop off points in the community.

These are:

  1. Inside All Saints Church
  2. Inside Wrington Chapel
  3. Outside Field Cottage, adjacent to the entrance to the Glebe
  4. Outside Branches Cross, at the School Road end of Ropers Lane, opposite Wrington Hill.
  5. Spar Shop (was Buglers), High Street

Donations of non-perishable food and toiletries are always welcome, but the Foodbank  also has a regularly updated list of items that are particularly urgently needed currently: https://clevedondistrict.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

Dave and Jude Tomlinson or Gill and Roger Key take all Wrington donations from the drop off points to the Foodbank in Clevedon on a regular basis.

Foodbank support is available to anyone in genuine need in Wrington and the surrounding area, but it is essential that they have a foodbank voucher first. These are available from local schools, churches and other locations, See details here: https://clevedondistrict.foodbank.org.uk/get-help/foodbank-vouchers/

The nearest Clevedon Foodbank branch to the village is at Rock Road Youth Club, Yatton, BS49 4JE. open Thursdays 9.30 a.m to 12.00. if you do not have transport (but do have a voucher), a delivery may be arranged by them.
