CUSTOMERS flying from Bristol Airport will soon be able to travel to Barbados.
The Dutch airline KLM will be launching flights to the Carribean island from October 2025 to March 2026 as part of its new route from Amsterdam Schiphol to Bridgetown, Barbados.
With departures from Bristol to Amsterdam, customers can benefit from onward connections to Barbados.
The new service to Barbados will operate three weekly flights from Amsterdam on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from October 26 2025 to March 26 2026.
Dave Lees, CEO, Bristol Airport said: “We are delighted that KLM’s network continues to grow, providing our customers even greater choice and convenience.
“This new connection means our customers can now access the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados with just an easy connective flight in Amsterdam, making travel more accessible and convenient than ever before.”
Barbados is one of the largest underserved markets in the Caribbean from the Netherlands, providing travellers with a sunny destination during the winter months.
Bridgetown is renowned for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich culture, the airport said.
