Look out for family and friends after amber cold health alert issued

North Somerset Council is encouraging everyone to look out for neighbours, family and communities after the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued an amber cold weather alert for the South-West, starting at 8pm today (Wednesday 31 December) until 10am on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
